Dance and physics - how do they relate? Get to know the answer in a new choreography from Bára Látalová / Tu 26. 1. / 6pm
Ponec theatre has desided to start the new year unconventionally by providing a space to young and so far less experienced choreographers. This challenge for fresh art school graduates as well as dancers in new choreographic roles was called "wild card".
At the end of January the first "wild card" Bára Látalová will introduce her new choreography inspired by the laws of physics. The choreographer is trying to answer one question: Is it possible to define dance as a simple movement here and there in the gravity field? The piece dedicated to all age groups that was named after the renowed Newton gravity law Fg = G [(m₁m₂)/r²] will be presented on Tuesday, January 26 at 6 pm. RESERVATION

Bára Látalová about her idea to create family performance
“I like to visit dance performances but it is rather complicated to do so, if you have a 6 year old son. It is usually the same struggle as for the dancers on the stage. He keeps asking me questions, laughs, claps his hand at the least appropriate time of silence and tension. Performances are also usually quite long for him and begin late in the evening. For this reasons, I have decided to create a dance performance for all age groups, so that children can communicate their impressions to their parents also during the show and that is also why my piece starts at 6 pm."
The choreography named after the famous Newton gravity law will be presented on Tuesday, January 26 at 6pm in Ponec.

Two "wild cards" will present their choreographic projects / Su 31. 1.
The so called "wild card" was given to two former Duncan Centre Conservatory students - Milan Loviška and Jan Březina. Both artists have danced in projects of the Czech and foreign choreographers. Milan Loviška studied at artistic school in Amsterdam (SNDO – School for New Dance Development) and devotes himself to the experimental dance theatre. His piece My Art Who's Frank? should be an avant-gard egocentric cabaret show reflecting pop culture of contemporary society.
Jan Březina, on the other hand, is a choreographer whose piece Through the Woods is influenced more by capoeira, acrobacy, mime and outdoor art. This experimental evening will be presented in Ponec theatre on Sunday, January 31 at 8 pm.
