Gender-balanced spring in Ponec, Alfred ve dvoře and Studio ALTA
The end of spring in three allied theatre spaces – that is a fantastical ride full of emotions, relationships, strong women and tender men. Let’s go open all our senses and focus on appreciating the elusive beauty of contemporary dance in the hot spring days!
The trio of performances, interconnected by thematic kinship, as well as, the capacity of their creators to work freely with a great variety of genres and to cleverly combine projections, speech with physical action, music and light design, will be opened by a reprise of a successful performance Muži/Men on Friday 25 May in Ponec. Ponec has Muže/Men, Studio ALTA enters the battle with Ženy/Women! That’s the name of an evening bringing together authorial solos that the Holešovice scene will introduce at the end of the same weekend - on Sunday 27 May. Themes of gender, identity, and national pride are dealt with in Alfred ve dvoře, in the performance POLSKA by Agata Maszkiewicz, that is planned for Thursday 7 June.
